MusicMan Bongo 5 HH.

Post by laxmi » 16 Jul 2018, 15:59

Great bass in very good condition with incredible attack from the two neodymium humbuckers. --Totally kick ass Music Man tones.
Beautiful feeling neck and fretwork. I had the neck professionally re-sprayed (mat/saturn) and feels very nice under thumb --The only quirk of this model bass, sorted! Otherwise it's completely stock.
Extremely comfortable body shape and weight distribution.
Active Bass, low mids, high mids and treble, Volume and pick up blend. Very easy access to the top frets. http://www.ozbassforum.com/posting.php?mode=post&f=28#
Reluctant sale. $1950.

Bass is in Murwillumbah, Northern Rivers, NSW. There's limited possibility of pick up from Brisbane (most Fridays) or Gold Coast drop off. Can arrange for freight at your option and cost. I will pack it very well.

Feel free to call or text with any questions.
Cheers.

Apart from the obvious on the head stock, on close inspection I did find a few chips and dings on the top and bottom edges of the body, that are all clearly visible in the photos.

Is that colour metallic? Reminds me of my desert gold.

It's just the slightest hint of sparkle. Much finer than your usual metallic.

I've got the 5HS of this. Desert Gold is a lovely colour and I enjoy the bass.

It's really tempting to pick up the HH.

Understandable. I use the Front Humbucker a lot. Way more than I would have imagined when I first got this bass. Love that fat tone, and sometimes with a spot of extra attack and punch from the back H.

Sold my beautiful Vigier first!
Thought there'd be someone keen on this, yet still no takers!
