RIP The Queen...
A sad day to lose the Queen of soul. I thought I'd post this - a really interesting peek into the creative process of one of the great studios of all time. If you haven't seen the Muscle Shoals film get onto it...

If you want to see just how versatile and talented she really was check out the performance at the 1998 Grammys. She sound Nessun Dorma after being asked 30 min before the show as Pavarotti got sick. Not too shabby at all.

Re: RIP The Queen...
I am a massive fan of Aretha. Our soul tribute show covers more Aretha tracks than anyone else's
She only wrote a handful of songs (including Think and Rocksteady), but she was a masterful interpreter - listen to her versions of Respect, You Make Me Feel (Like a Natural Woman), Let it Be.
I thought I would link to her doing something different - this is her on Soul Train being asked to perform one of Smokey Robinson's track (with him) - no notice, no rehearsal, no band - just talent

Great talent. “Think” is my Blues Brothers standout.
