Nice set up!
I want one of those craddles for the Group handle! Have you got a link?
Thanks!
The Bean Scene in Warragul is where I bought mine. Very sturdy... over half a kilo!
Great shop, great gear.

Sadly no. They would be very expensive beans :-) I just haven't yet worked out a faster way than to shell each one by hand. I should get these ones done before the second crop arrives though. Shelling is now complete. I have a bunch of green beans waiting for roasting. Should get to that tomorrow
I think in OzBass tradition, a build thread is in order.
Pics of the green bean in it's shell, then roasting etc etc :useless:

While I think of it - Anyone who is looking for GOOD lactose/diary free alternatives to good ol Moo juice, but doesn't like Soy or Lactose free milk, have a crack at Milk Lab Almond Milk. It's certainly a hit in my house...

This is my daily coffee style, won’t blow your head off like a long black and more subtle taste, half way between tea and coffee. The rate at which you ingest caffeine amplified the effect, I find pour over black coffee to be a better experience for every day. Plus you don’t have to chug it before it gets cold, microwave brings it back nicely, further downplaying the heart attack feeling of drinking espresso too fast.

I’m making a batch right now!

I’m not sure if anything that is a substitute is ever healthier really, just a product of necessity. Everything in moderation usually does the trick. The dose makes the poison.

Food additives aren't always bad. eg. Acidity regulator 332 is Potassium citrates - present in all citrus fruit.
It reduces urinary acidity and helps prevent gout and kidney stones.

.... then you've got a bunch of other stuff extracted from other vegetable products. Seems fine to me.

Yes exactly. It’s bloody fantastic, just don’t buy an espresso roast, buy a good light roast profile

electronic scales and timer, add 40g of water, wait 40 secs.....too precise for me

plus with my habits, I do NOT want electronic scales in the house at all :)

Ah well just buy some paper filters and have a crack using tablespoons and cups of boiling water.
