Dear Customers

Gibsons lawyers sent us (along with most of the guitar making fraternity) a nasty letter. We couldn't be bothered with the time and expense of taking it all to court so we are just changing this model and getting on with it.
Basses: Wasburn Status 4, Fretless 4 made from parts, Fretted through neck 5 made by me
Amp: Eminar bass 400 into home made cab with JBL 15"

smart move. Instantly creates a 'classic' that will be sought after, AND creates a revamped look to attract even more fans, hopefully.

Yeah.....nah. If Dingwall had a case they wouldn't sook and sound like children..... I think Dingwall leant too much by calling it the D Bird. Nice bass and a modern take on a classic, but they borrowed part of the the name. Give me some Gibson hate, I think they are in the right here, if it as it seems ( I am only going on what is in this thread- ie couldn't be bothered researching). Don't forget Fender got all litigious about the original Gibson Firebird/ Thunderbird designs. Gibson flipped the body over.

Is the D Bird a Chinese built instrument? A classic?
Happiness is .......a Telebass and 500W.
