I've got a neo 12" speaker that needs a home, any Melbourne based Ozbassers able to build a cab for me? I'll pay you.

If you're even just a tiny bit handy, I'd suggest having a crack yourself. We can help you through it.

Have you got the design part done?
* 2 Stingray 5's (one heavily modded), Ibanez SR805, Ashbory, + more...
* Carvin B1500, Epifani PS1000, Ashdown Superfly amps.
* Lots of DIY neo/lightweight cabs including one made from composites http://www.ozbassforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2546

Might just do that, be a good Christmas holiday project. No design as yet - thinking i'll just measure up an Aggy or Berg cab and go from there.

I would think that you would need to start with the specs of your driver and work from there. There are software packages that look at box designs based on driver parameters. Last time I did it was many, many years ago and did the calculations manually, so i can't help with software suggestions. You will find the driver specs in manufacturer catalogues or datasheets unless you are very unlucky.

What driver have you got ? I bought a Faital 15PR400 a couple of weeks ago I hope to get Pete to guide me through building a cab for.

Yes, definitely design the cab using the specs of the driver. The Berg or Aggie cab spec might work fine, but they might not. So its best to run the math first. Sure beats building cabs based on trial and error.

I've got all sorts of software. All I need is the make and model of the driver and I can run some simulations for you.

NotTheFish, that Faital is a good speaker! Shoot me a PM, or start a separate thread, whichever you prefer.
