Clicking links within OBF
If I click a link in the forum it takes the page I am on (OBF) to that page, whereas in other forums and pages, if I click a link within it, it opens another tab in my browser. I'm assuming this is a setting within OBF? I am training myself to right click and hit open in new tab, but can this be changed within the Forum?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Clicking links within OBF
To clarify, I think what you mean is:
When you click a link that points to another site (non-OBF), it opens in your existing window.
What you'd like to see is:
When you click a link that points to a non-OBF site, you'd like it to open in a new window
Let me know if I completely misread that -
2 things can be done:
1. It is definitely doable in the PHPBB settings somewhere I'm sure (Phil, you're looking for a target="_blank" attribute for external links)
2. You (Rocksolid) can get a much quicker mouse shortcut by clicking the scroll wheel on your mouse (yes, it's a button), or if you have a touch pad on a laptop, it's usually two buttons together or a triple finger tap (different makers implement diff shortcuts)
Hope that helps

I know there are ways around it, but was just wondering if it was worth making like 99% of other websites, for my sanity and possibly others also.

I'd agree. Consistency with the way everywhere else works would be a plus.

I just added an extension that will do the job. Here's how the internal and external links work now.
