When it lands in Canberra, I would like to give it a go as well if that's alright =)

Fellow canberran here who wouldn't mind having a try for a week or a weekend.

I can come round a collect from someone in canberra and then ship it on the the next person.

I haven't had a massive chance to test this out. Just a quick play on Friday when I got home from work and didn't end up taking it to the gig - once I saw the setlist I figured it wasn't going to get used and decided to just leave it at home.

Hopefully tonight, I'll get to give it a good going over now I have my gear all set back up after the weekend.

From my short play on Friday, with my Bongo 5HH into a TecAmp Puma1000 on clean it gives a nice boost. I find the Puma to be a warm amp, compared to most other lightweight heads I have played, and didn't notice a big difference in the tone (maybe just the fact I was in a rush that night, so just quickly seeing what it did) but gave it a little vol boost. On Dirty it is very similar to the sound I have set on my EBS Multidrive. Nice and lush OD.

Would it replace anything on my board? However, I reckon a pedal like this would come in handy for me on a small board along with something like a Pitchblack, where I didn't want or need to bring the PT-Pro setup and keep it in my bag for a just in case situation.

Or, I could just sell the EBS and get 2 of these, one for my main board and one in the bag.

I don't think I'd use the clean setting - my Hematoma has a clean boost on that already.

Also going to give it a go on my guitar as well. I currently only use a MXR Mircoamp with that, and would be interesting to see how this compares.

Pedal will be on its way to maxgroover as Justin is in the process of moving house.

So Mark - can you move Justin a bit further down the list so he doesn't miss out at all.

I've had a chance to use the pedal a few times at home and at rehearsals. The pedal is compact, feels very sturdy and of course is very simple to use.

The clean setting sounds great. Warms up the tone nicely without really colouring it. I used to go for absolutely clean tone from the bass head only but these days my default is a little grit, much like the clean setting on this pedal. The dirty tone is cool too. I wouldn't use this one so much but it would be good on those more full on rock numbers when the band gets cranking.

These days I'm going for simplicity in my setup and currently my Zoom B2.1u does all the sounds I need on the gigs I do. So whilst I personally wouldn't be looking to add this pedal to my setup, I can definitely see it being of great value to many a player who goes the pedalboard route. I reckon there could be a good middle ground for a Grunt MK 1.5, which has 4-5 preset levels including the MK I's clean and dirty settings with perhaps 2 or 3 settings in between. Then you get similar drive control with the MK II without trying to be precise about the Drive level. On the MK I there is quite a jump from clean to dirty.

Have just got sucho's address, so all going well the pedal will be on it's way to him tomorrow.

Just collected it this morning and had a quick 1 min test...

It is indeed a warm sounding pedal..
It warms up my Fender jazz with flatwound even warmer. ;)

This would be nice for me to use before my MB LMII to warm it up, whenever I don't want that crisp sound of Little Mark (But I love crisp sound !!)

Anyway, thanks to Maxgroover for posting and I will test it properly over this weekend..
BTW whom should I send this to next ??
