There's a new game coming out on xBox called Sea of Thieves. It's basically an open world pirate game and my band Captain Hellfire & The Wretched Brethren have been commissioned to play live along with groups of players playing online this weekend. It will all be streamed on xBox's facebook and other social media channels.
It's all pretty exciting! I fly out to Sydney tomorrow morning. Then it's 3 solid 8 hour days in the studio. It will be the most skinny-string I've every played in a weekend I reckon!

I wasn't sure whether to put this in "announcements" or "off topics" coz this is the band I play the skinny-strings in... but to be fair there's 3 bass players in the band so I figured it's bass-related enough. The bass player, the accordion player & me (the guitarist) are all bass players at heart but it's hard to play in the same band together that way!!
